“Lufthansa kept pushing back on my claim. FlightsComp took over, handled the paperwork, and got us paid without the back-and-forth.”
Karim booked a summer trip home from Montreal to Algiers with a connection in Frankfurt: Air Canada from YUL to FRA, then Lufthansa from FRA to ALG. The transatlantic leg landed nearly two hours late, and by the time he reached the Lufthansa gate, the Algiers flight had already departed.
Lufthansa rebooked him on the next available flight that evening. Karim arrived in Algiers more than seven hours late, missed the family dinner his parents had planned, and spent the night in transit with no offer of cash compensation.
He submitted everything to FlightsComp: booking confirmation, boarding passes for both segments, and screenshots of the delay boards in Frankfurt. Our team confirmed EU261 eligibility on the European connection and filed for Karim and his wife on the same booking.
Lufthansa rejected the first response citing operational reasons. We pushed back with the full timeline. The airline eventually paid $1,193.16 total. Karim kept the majority and paid our 25% success fee only because money was actually recovered.
